What is CEP?

Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), is a provision of the National School Lunch Program that offers free meals to all students at qualifying schools. CEP eliminates the household application process to qualify for free or reduced price meals. Based on the percentage of students that automatically qualify for free meals through SNAP benefits, McKinney Vento, Foster and Medicaid data, we are able to offer free meals to all students at OMOS. CEP is approved for a four-year cycle so our current CEP cycle with all schools eligible for CEP is approved through 2028-2029.

To file a program discrimination complaint, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027, found online at How to File a Program Discrimination Complaint and at any USDA office or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
